What types of sand do you offer?
We wash and screen river sand to produce ASTM C33 sand and DOT Approved 2S sand used in Asphalt and some types of Concrete plus many other construction purposes including above ground pool base, backfill, crawlspaces, paving tiles, etc.
What types of Soil do you offer?
We wash and screen our sand and everything light enough to not be considered sand gets washed into a settling pond. From time to time we dip this pond to uncover very high quality sandy loam topsoil. It’s a product that is unique to us and our customers love it because it has zero clay content and is easy to work with if you need a base product in bulk quantities for landscaping purposes.
Do you offer delivery services?
Yes, we offer delivery services for bulk orders to both residential and commercial customers in the western part of the state including but not limited to Hickory, Lenoir, Morganton, Boone, Blowing Rock, Nebo, Taylorsville, etc. Pricing varies, call for a quote 828-758-0617
Can I purchase sand and soil in smaller quantities?
Yes! We are set up to load large quantities for dump trucks and contractors, but we also offer our materials to the public. We will load your pickup truck or trailer as well. We have a minimum purchase of $25 per visit regardless of the quantity that is loaded. Most pickups can handle at least 1/2 ton, some up to 1 ton. Some trailers can handle 2-5 tons. Be sure to check your manufacturer’s labels for payload capacity. We also have a list of numbers you can call for drivers of small dump trucks for loads anywhere from 1-7 tons.
Are your products environmentally sustainable?
Yes! Our materials are 100% natural with no additives. We source our materials from the Catawba and Yadkin River under permits from the NC Division of Water and Land Quality. Our screening process pumps and removes lots of trash, litter, and debris from the waterway to return it to its natural clean state. Our settling ponds keep all processed super fine materials on site until fully settled so the water we return to the river is very clean. Our dredging process is helpful to local homeowners and recreational enthusiasts because we remove large quantities of sediment from the waterway. This helps the waters be cleaner and more navigable by preventing sediment buildup.
